ID Please.....

Looking for a few opinions on this.....

This is growing on Coralline algae, the circle of algae is about 1/2" in diamemter. I was going to pluck them, but after a closer look, I wasn't sure just what I had.

Any help would be great!!!

my best guess - from the encrusting mat is they are star polyps - the matt is normally purple and the polyps can be a multitude of colors with the common GSP being the norm

I have to agree with J&D, and to think of all the trouble some people go thru when trying to glue a mat of GSP to the glass....

very nice find
