I need help!! Keeping high calcium levels!!

Hello everyone! Does anybody keep hard corals in their Nanos? I will like to keep some hard corals like clams, acroporas and montiporas. What will be the best way to keep calcium between the 400-450 ppm range?

Yup, I've used Kent Tech CB and Ocean's Blend two part additives with good success.

Might want to see what Mike G uses like Dragon said. You will def. need to invest in some good Ca and Alk test kits before you start dosing though.

You'll need to buy a calcium test, and additives. How much you need to add will depend on what salt you're using, and how quickly your corals and coraline uses it.
Only way to determine that is through testing. I like the Kent Marine Tectra-CB Part A & B.

Ok, that sound fair enough! Now, what test kit do you recommend?. I currently have the Red Sea Calc. & ALk. test kit. Are these very reliable?

Thaks! Jose
