i just started my first tank yesterday. its a 20gal wide with a 206 gph Canister filter and a T-5 w/ actine light. My LFS told me to get the tank all set up (water, sand/ crushed coral bed, water temp) then when the water is clear to come back (1-2 days) for LR and one fish (med yellow watchman goby because its very hardy and eats and poops very little) to start the bacteria cycle. I am to stock my fish first then my coral...
my tests are ammonia .25 PH 8.0 nitrite and nitrates are 0.
although i wish i would have put my LR in before my water... does anyone agree with this way to set up??? Thanks for being here and thanks for any input....
