How to Adjust H2O

I have a question. We purchase our Salt Water from the fish store. But I test the water at home to see if we need to add RO or salt water.....it always reads low on Salt Water; How do I adjust this?

I tested the water right when we got home from the store and the Salt water he gave us reads low on Salt....how do I fix that?

So, we went to a different Salt Water Fish store and purchased their water. They said beause they use Ocean Water that theirs usally reads High in Salt and i will need to add RO.....but when I tested it at home it read low as well......

How do i make this adjustment?

first thing you should do is test the tester. take your tester to the store and compare the reading they get to the one you get - your tester may be reading incorectly. If it is not the tester then just buy some mix salt - i like reef crystals brand and add a little. also many run salt as low as 1.023 to as high as 1.026 but the most importent thing is to be consistent
