Anyone here making their own Kalk out of pickling lime? I'm using Mrs.Wages pickling lime and I mixed it yesterday and was wondering if its ready to use because its still a little cloudy.
I mixed 6 teaspoons to my 5 gal topoff bucket. There is a white coat on the surface which I plan to siphon out (as well as the bottom crud) but was wondering if the rest is ready?
