How do I feed these corals? (Uber Noob)

I plan on having these corals:

Sun Coral
Frogspawn
Red open brain
Colt Soft Coral
Yellow Leather Soft Coral
Xenia

But I am a bit stumped on the phrase spot feed. :isorry Do I get an eyedropper like item and squeeze shrimp at the coral? I know how to feed the Sun Coral fine, but the frogspawn and open brain I'm a bit confused. (As far as I know the other three don't need supplemental feedings, please correct me if I'm wrong). Sorry to sound like a total newbie, but I even searched around and couldn't find an explanation that satisfied me.

You'll feed the open brain and frogspawn the same as the sun coral. Let the food get within their reach and they'll do the rest.

yep the eye dropper or go to a beauty store and get pipettes usually around 50 cents and they are reusable :mrgreen:

I spot feed with a turkey baster. Using anything smaller would be too time consuming for some of the larger colonies I have. For small frags an eye dropper could work.

I have found larger (20-60 cc) syringes to be convenient for target feeding, you also have a built in scale if you want to speard things equally or feed the same amount each time.

No but I have added short sections of airline tubing to the end before for added reach. :mrgreen:

I tried that but they seem to bend I have tried a 10G and it seems to work well I only use the cath not the syringe part :mrgreen:

someone should invent an IV drip just for corals then you could get measured doses all the time... jk haha
