Hi,
I'm new to this part of the woods. While being a freshwater enthusiast (no where near going overboard) for quiet a while, I'm starting to get a "Nano Reef" fever, I guess you could say. I've always been attracted to the nano reef aquariums, not being able to get over the charm and beauty of them, but always putting the hobby off because of a number of issues. Well I am finally able to start building towards a goal of owning and caring for...a wonderful, beautiful reef!!....my piece of the ocean that I must have! :)

Now that being said....I was thinking of going the JBJ 12gal Nano Cube route because it seems to offer what I am looking for in my adventure. I like miniature and compact, so seems to have it all covered there. xD What I don't know is...will the lighting and filter provided be good enough for some corals? Because after all, what's a reef without corals? :) I'd like to think I know enough about the basics of saltwater, LR, water parameters and so on...with maybe a little bit of brain refreshing here and there of course, but I don't know about caring for corals. My question in a whole is....Will the JBJ 12gal Nano Cube DX be a good route to take for a beginner who's wanting to start a reef without having to do many (preferbly none) mods to the system?

:) Thanks for any input
