HI all im looking at getting a nano reef setup but need help on decideing on which one to get ie 24gal D&D or the orca/ river reef theres loads to chose from but how much fish stock can you put in these? as i Have no idea on the levels if system is fish only or live rock and fish and soft corals live rock and fish so any info would go down a treat. Thanks all

Well. I prefer T5 lighting and metal halide lighting for reef tanks (corals and any photosynthetic creatures). If it is only fish or fish with live rock than any light will do. Anything around 10 gallons a good number of fish is 2. You can keep more, but then water parameters could swing rapidly. Inverts and corals add very little to a bio load so you can have quite a few more of these. (Basically the sky is the limit, if doing a lot of inverts make sure to do weekly water changes to keep trace elements stable for their shells)
