Help! JBJ NC 28g HQI and JBJ Nano Chiller

I have had a 24g Aquapod for a few years now and have been extremely unhappy with it from the start. I just recently purchased a new JBJ NC 28g HQI and a JBJ Nano Chiller. I also purchased the JBJ Nano Chiller install kit. I need some input regarding the setup and installation of this equipment. The 28g NC has 2 built in pumps in the sump for the two returns (one on each side). I also have annother RIO600 pump that I was going to use strictly for the chiller. I have a few questions.

1) Do I use 3 pumps? (2 for the returns, and 1 for the chiller)

2) Which portions of the sump should I place which side of the chiller? (In / Reutrn) *SEE ATTACHED PIC OF SUMP.

3) The JBJ Nano Chiller install kit contains 2 pipes, a "U" shaped pipe (for the in), and an "S" shaped pipe (for the return). Obviously the "U" shaped pipe is designed for the in side of the chiller. What is the "S" shape for? Is there something special about it that Im missing. Is it meant to tie into one of the tanks 2 main return pumps? If it is placed similar to the "U" shaped pipe on another side of the sump, the "S" shaped part of the tube sticks out unlike the "U" shaped tube. I feel like there is a reason for the "S" design and Im missing it.

3) The JBJ NC 28g HQI came with a wavemaker timer. Is this meant for additional pumps inside the tank, or is it meant for the 2 main return pumps? If tied into the 2 main return pumps, it would leave the 2 sides of the sump un even at whatever interval the timer was set at.

4) Any additional information / experience you can provide me with about these setups would be great.

The tank has 2 bags of live substrate and 35lbs of live rock in it. It is currently setup to cycle with just the two main return pumps. (chiller and chiller pump is not plumbed in yet as I am waiting for input)

If I were in that much of a gray area I would contact JBJ for some spiritual enrichment but Im sure you figured that one out as quick as I did so thats not much consulation.

Unfortunately I am more in to seperates than AIO's and cant help you much here.
