Dmasels are very territorial. The royal grammas are great... I am actually planning on one for my tank. The purple fish that you are talking about is probably an orchid dottyback. Be careful to research them first because I believe that they are aggressive. The watchmans are cool... I have one and like him. If you want the jawfish, make sure your sand bed is about 4"-6" deep made up of various grades of sand. This will make the jawfish the happiest. I would skip the angels as they are likely to pick at your corals. MAKE SURE TO WAIT AND BE PATIENT BEFORE ADDING ANY OF THESE FISH! You have to wait for the tank to cycle and establish itself before it can support any sort of biological load.

Congrats on the bigger tank. I hope i was of some help.

I've heard those purple psoudochromis don't play well with others. Might be able to get away with 7 or so fish in your 29 gallon. But don't add them all at once....you will have to allow your live rock and sand to grow enough bacteria to support you bio load. Maybe add like 3 or 4 to start, then one more a week. Just my two cents. (I'm not sure what skimmer you are getting fro 35 bucks but I wouldn't skimp on this item) You don't really need fake coral but if you like that look :shrug

Look in your local ads or craigslist online if possible for live rocks and sand! They'll be cycled and at a cheap price... I have seen prices as low as $2.50 selling them, actually I got a deal at $2.00 a pound for live rocks since I got 75 pounds. Plus ask the board for someone who has a skimmer around that they can sell you. I have a odessey that I don't use but its a piece of CRAP! Plus for some reason some pieces aren't holding up together allowing bubbles to escape.
