new to this forum but have had a tank (24 gallon aquapod ) for about a year :blob sad to say though that lost a lot of fish recently (my fault ) lost a shrimp, clown, manderin goby, pajama cardinal, 2 feather dusters oh & also a serpent starfish some I wanted others dont miss as wife wanted to many items in to small a tank nitrates went sky high due to over feed we both feed them a little extra as we had a family emergency out of state (where gone for 3 days ) came back tank a bust >>>>>>>>>>>>>
now all seems to be within parameters as far as water but also now have ton of aptasia in tank :wlift so is it now better to get rid of all aptasia be for restock or can I add another clown & feather duster before I start treatment as tank seems to be naked also what is best way to get rid of aptasia ???????????????? thanks

For aiptasia, you should probably use Joe's Juice or a similar produce
or you can use lemon juice and inject those suckers

If you have a crazy amount of aiptasia, you might want to cook your rock
Cooking involves putting all the rock in a bin with water, and covering it for 1-2 months with no light and periodic water changes (this starves the aiptasia and other bad things, however, it can kill the good hitchhikers too)

Your best bet would be waiting to purchase the clown and feather dusters unless you use joes juice
