Has anyone ever had a Golden Dwarf Moray Eel?

I'm interested in getting one, and I have a local marine livestock distributor who said he can get me one (for big bucks, of course!). They are very hard to come by.

Anyway, they get about 10" long and are the diameter of a pen, and they are not aggressive and are easy to feed. They are not likely to eat fish, except for perhaps the very smallest fish. I would most likely keep mine in a tank by himself.

Has anyone ever had one, or seen one? I want to do as much research as I can before I make the decision to order one. They range in price from about $300-$500. Yikes!

Here's a good link:

Yeah, it's a bit of a price shock! But they are so pretty and they do well in captivity. Easy to feed, not aggressive. It's like having a snake, but without having to feed pinkies. :) I guess.

I hope they are hardy. Especially to trust them in a nano. I cant imagine coming home to a dead $300 fish!!!
