So, I had started to notice these pesky little gold things starting to grow on my rocks. When they started to show on the glass, I realized they were flatworms. I did some research on the net and found that if they were gold in color, these were the acropora species that live on sps corals. Well, I have no sps corals in my tank, so I felt if I left them alone, they would die off. So, three weeks had passed, and all those little guys did was multiply, faster than rabbits....
So, Salifert Flatworm Exit to the rescue. I used the recommended dosage of 1 drop per gallon. Within 45 seconds, it looked like a snow storm in my tank with all the flatworms dying off. I followed the instructions in the package. I did a good size water change afterwards.
Happy to report the tank is flatworm free and looking good.
Nice product, didn't harm anything else in the tank...
