Ok, a Blood Shrimp went missing! I have searched the rocks and no sign of any bodies. I have searched around the tank and no sign of jumpers. I only have a AC500 filter which they could not have been sucked up. What is going on?

My Saron Shrimp, Peppermint Shrimp, Yellow Watchman Goby, Sexy Shrimp, Hermits, and Snails are still alive and well. I figure it is not a mantis cause more would end up missing.

Any ideas?

Don't know if it could be the Sauron or not. I've heard bad things about them though. One of the LFS owner/managers sometimes gets them, and marks them NOT REEF SAFE....I asked if it would eat corals, and they said they haven't seen them do that, but that they'd be real likely to take out the reefs clean-up crew.

Are all of your powerheads inlets protected? I lost a scooter goby once when it got too close to an inlet and got sucked in and spit out, instant puree...the other fish and esp the shrimp went crazy. Aside from jumping, that's the only thought I had.

I found the Fire Goby. He was hiding under my Open Brain. No sign of the shrimp though.

The Saron shrimp is awsome. He moves around eating pods off my live rock all day. Saron is the only shrimp that does not hide. He is out all the time.
