Fish for Nanocube 12

I am looking for the appropriate fish for my nanocube 12, and I am well aware of the 1" per 5 gallons but can this be pushed a bit? I am looking for a true percula clownfish, a yellow clown goby (only 1"-1 1/2"), and a neon blue goby (or any small cleaner goby). Of course I will also be stocking the nanocube with a fire shrimp, a hermit crab and maybe a small sea star. I know this is probably over the limit and if so which fish should I not buy?

Almost forgot...just make sure your tank is established before you add anything to the bioload like a fish.

uuhhh nice chose of fish and well everything sounds good... and tell me about pushing it im housing ...a false clown, firefish, yellow watchman goby ,greenbanded goby & redhead goby...cleaner shrimp, randall's pistol shrimp and sexy... anemone crab... but i added each one every week or so...and also what helps me is my big water change cause i was getting problems with natrite but after cutting on food and big water changes everything is fine (75% water change every week still not recommended still in probe by some reefers) and so far no stress at all...

ohhh yeah i forgot to let you know if you're getting the fire shrimp cause its color and think that you are gonna see him ....guess what he will always hidding in the LR work and you will see him on feeding time only or during the night....

anyways like jesse said wait for your cycle and be patience you dont want a disaster..... tell me about it i flush almost $100 once cause of rushing everything....be patient and you will have a piece of ocean in your house...

AND ALSO MOST IMPORTANT THING :welcome TO NANO TANK.

Thanks a bunch Eddy and Jesse, I pretty much have everything else covered even though this will be my first saltwater tank. I have been researching for weeks now and I've got all the basics covered! except I need to know how many pounds of LR I am going to need. I know some will break off while curing the rock (even when it is pre-cured). Oh, and also I am getting the 12 gallon nanocube deluxe edition 2006, will a pump upgrade be necessary?

:welcome to nanotank Dillon!

It sounds like you have a good selection of fish that should work out okay.
You may not need to upgrade the return pump on a 2006 model because they are using a bigger pump than before. Give it a try and see before you buy a bigger one.

I would skip the starfish they can desimate a tank by knocking corals over . Other wise good selection add them slowly and wait till the tank cycles before adding anything . BTW :welcome

Depending on the kind of LR (tonga, marshall, fiji, etc...), I would say 10 lbs is usually a good start for the nano cubes. Try to find rock that is very porous...you get more for your money because it is lighter in weight...and you get better biological filtration out of it. Jusdt a suggestion.

Thanks a lot for the help! I have two other questions, does anyone know if the 2006 or 2005 12 gallon deluxe nanocube comes with the blue LEDs? and does anyone have any experience with nano refugiums. I'm planning to build one with a 20 gallon aquaclear filter I have.
