Alright, here is my 5g nano tank. It is my first time doing a salt water setup, so we'll see what happens. I got live rock and some sand that were both from a couple different tanks. No cleanup crew or fish yet. Here is what I have so far:
5G flat back hex acryllic tank
2 x 24w JBJ Power Compact light (one 10000k and one actinic bulb)
4ish lbs live rock
1" Sand bed
Aquaclear 20 powerhead (126 gph)- flow reduced
Aquaclear 10 powerhead (80 gph)
Neptune 25W heater
Oceanic Salt Mix
SG 1.025
Temp 80F
I haven't tested pH, Ammonia, Nitrate, or Nitrite yet, but I will soon. The water and one chunk of LR have been in there since 6/30 and the rest of the LR and sand were put in on 7/4. Light was added 7/7.
The water is cloudy in this pic because I just messed with the heater a bunch and stirred everything up.
