feedback on nano skimmer and Question on waterchanges

I was wondering what you guys had to say about the "nano skimmer" anyone use it or recommend it for a ten gallon tank? And also ive been doing 3 to 3 1/2 gallon water changes every friday on my 10 gallon tank. Is that too much of a water change or is that a good amount?

Do you have a link to the skimmer? if it is the nano fission skimmer it is junk.

Has your tank finished cycling? If not, I wouldnt suggest doing water changes. If it has, then that is a large amount to do but it is perfectly fine. Some suggest 105, some suggest up to 50% or more of the total volume. I personally like 30%-50% water changes every 10-14 days. Another good way to do it is, say on your 10g, 1/2 gal or so change every day. If that is an easy habit for you to get into than you could do that.

yea its fully cycled and running for about 6 months. Im going to do the 1/2 gallon a day or every other day.
