explosion of copepods and snails

hmmm i doubt that they spontaneously appeared so I would bet that they came from eggs. hehehe :lol:

Copepods are a definate good thing, they act to feed other things in your tank and they also help clean up leftover food and other waste in the tank. On the snails that depends on what knd of snails they are, chances are they are also a good thing but I can't say with 100% confidence since I do not know what species they are.

I think they may be tiny turbo snails as those are the only ones I have put in the tank?

That is a distinct possibility

Most likely stomella snails. They are very common to hitchhike on LR, and they multiply like crazy. I've never know turbos to reproduce in a aquarium, but Im sure its quite possible.
