Electricution ?

Marshs

My heater had a crack in it and sent sparks!

Some of the small little starfish and some pests (that I did not know I had) fell out of the rock onto the sand bed.

My Pom-pom crab made it - the corals look okay?

My crabs and snails are not moving.

What about my live rock/sand?
is it still allive or could all the good critters die from electricution?

Thanks for the help.

Sorry to hear this. What brand was heater?
You will see. Closely watch tank for a few days, remove corpses. Ceck ammonia - it may spike after several hours of decomposing. By test kit, not Ammonia Alert.
In emergency ammonia could be neutralized by tap water conditioners, like Amquel Plus, Prime, Erase Cl.
Adding new carbon a couple of times could help with what was excreted by stressed corals.
If you will have massive die off, removing what was left even in new, but well aerated, water may save them.

Water change and sand bed maintenance can help a bit. Try to suck out all the dead things. Rigid tubing with airline tubing works nicely.
