here is a little project that I did last night when I got bored (got tired of looking at the light fixture and filter and stuff

Very nice...loks very clean and finished. DIY projects are SO rewarding. Almost everything on my 20L project is DIY...stand, canopy and lighting, refugium, drilling holes... I wouldnt do it any other way!

Looks good. Make sure it has enough ventiilation to keep the lights and tank from overheating.

Yeah its a open back so There should be enough although I am thinking about adding a small computer fan just for the added security. although I am thinking about metal halide now so I might install it into that then add the fans and build some sort of rack off the back of the stand and suspend it from that but not sure yet.

:lol3: DIY not for me too complicated... too dumb here .... better get it already and ready to use than DIY om om :lol3: :lol3: is true DIY dont work for me.... ANYWAYS great setup is looking really nice i like the wood just like that without any paint or anything looks natural....just like nature....
