Well ya'll, for Xmas, I finally gotta camera. Yippee!!!
With Macro... even better.

My tank is a standard 10 gal. AGA.
Aqua-tech 30-60 HOB modded to a sump/ fuge.
Currently, my Sanders Piccollo skimmer is removed bc I need to replace the airstone.

I am adding a Koralia Nano this weekend that I recently purchased bc I don't think the 350gph of flow is either accurate or enough flow.

Stocking:
2 osc. clowns (female is 1.5 inches, male is .5inch- he's a replacement as my cat got the other male).
1 YWG (2.5 inches)
1 Green Clown Goby (.75inch)
3 Peppermint Shrimps
4 Mexican red tipped hermits
3 Astrea snails
unknown number of nassarius snails as I have babies everywhere.

Before anyone starts on my stocking... get over it. I know I'm pushing it, but since everyone is still small, don't even start. The YWG has a guaranteed home when he gets too big. And everyone else is so small that we aren't even going there.

So, without further ado, here they are:
My favorite little mushface (YWG) Sam I am:

Here is Oscar... that's cause he's a little grouch. But he is a ham and holds still for the camera better than anyone else does. It's just hard to get close enough bc he's so small.

One of my new peppies, hiding in his secret hidey hole... don't tell him that you can see him, ok???

Here's one of my little Hermies... ain't he cute?

Here's a pic of my HOB fuge conversion without the skimmer. The skimmer goes on the left-hand side.

A full-tank shot without the equipment.

A full-tank shot with my lights, etc...

Here's my happy hammer... when I got him, he was nickel sized.. now look at him.

It was love at first sight. Here's Danica and Tony... they've been together for 3 days now, and she's already letting him sleep in her corals.

Gives me hope for my 10 gallon tank project. I was going to do a 29g but finances are tight atm so I am doing a 10 gallon because I have almost everything I need for that so there will be little out of pocket except for maintenance supplies (salt, RO water, food, ect.) I just worry that 10g is not enough room but your tank looks great so that reassures me that even a little tank can be really nice.

Nice looking tank Davenia7. Its one of the better looking 10's I have seen in a while. The photography is equally as nice, thanks for sharing the eye candy. You have obviously spent a good bit of time researching everything and setting it all up with a mind towards a solid plan and goal. It shows!

Thats quiet the bio-load for a 10 gallon tank but as you mentioned they are all very small at the moment and as such not that much of a tax on the system at the moment. None of the selections you have chosen are especially fast growers and should do well for several months if not a year before needing more "elbow room" so to speak, and unlike many...you got a solid plan!

Im kinda in the same boat as you with my 10 gallon...I have a Angler fish thats very small in my 10 gallon but have a much larger tank standing by already set up (and marinating) for him as he out grows it, not that they get that large or are that active of a swimming fish. Its also a very slow growing species of fish. So i can understand where your comming from on this issue.

I find it kinda amusing when someone post a pick of a Nickle or Quarter sized tang in a 30 gallon tank and the tang police blow a gasket. If it were 4-6 inches long I would agree with them but at such a tiny size, its not exactly cramped and most people realize that when its gets to be some size that they will have to return it to the LFS for a replacement with another tiny one or donate it to a friend with a considerably bigger tank thats more suitable.

Again, I want to compliment you on such a nice set up! Its a great example of how a tank should be set up and maintained. Keep it going and post updates often.

Can you post a pic of this skimmer and some information and link if possible?

Im currently using a Beriln Airlift 60 on a couple of tanks and while it works suprisingly better than I thought it would Im interested in other options especially if they are more effceint in performance.

I still haven't replaced the skimmer... goodness grad school is taking a lot of time. I'm lucky if I get my water made and WC's done every 2 weeks right now.
Anyone wanna do my accounting HW for me?
As far as this tank goes... the green hair has somewhat overthrown the tank governance. However, I admit that this is purely through my own laziness and I hereby vow to recommit myself to doing my 2 week WC's like I'm supposed to.
