Cube Master's 12 Gallon Cooling Problem

Aside from the utilization of an external fan what other options might we have to cool our tank? Our 36 gallon corner tank runs pretty close to 78 all of the time and our 10 gallon runs exactly at 78 but our new Nano Cube runs around 80 to 82.5ish and we want to eventually put coral in the tank. I know some corals do well at higher temps but we were just curious on average what everyone else's Nano's were running temp wise (At least Nano's without internal fans). We really can't justify buying a chiller just for the Nano really so any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I dont think the those temps that you mentioned are too high, especially if they are constant. The main thing is avoiding major variances. Is the lighting in the cube stock or is it modified? Have you taken a look at the ICA chiller for the cubes? I know you mentioned you couldnt justify a chiller, but you may want to check it out... http://nanotuners.nanocustoms.com/nanot ... ucts_id=79
