i have the 40w csl moon light hood i want to find the same bulbs like the one's that come with it but now that csl went under i can't find them i found the smartpaq lights but i don't want some 50/50does any one no where i can get them

They appear to have 50/50, dual daylight, and dual actinic bulbs.

i want just the 10k and the super anitic i don't want a combination bulb

check on ebay, you may be able to find some csl bulbs there.

I couldn't find a single site that lists a 10,000k only daylight bulb made by sunpaq in 40w.

Your choices seem to be:
dual daylight
dual actinic
smartpaq 50/50

You might try some of the lighing forums on RC and nano-reef to see if theres a 10k only bulb that will fit it that isn't made by sunpaq.

What's the length of the bulb? Is it square-pin or straight-pin alignment?

After spending about an hour looking at one vendors site after another I and running checks on lighting forums on several boards I can't find a mention of csl ever making a super actinic or 10k only 40w bulb.

There's only 3 choices as far as I've been able to find for 40w bulb.

dual actinic
dual daylight
50/50

I did find a few 10k only bulbs that might work, but they were all in either 32w, or 36w. So you'd lose some intensity. I'd either pick from the bulbs listed above, or sell the fixture and try to find a retro kit that will fit your hood with the bulbs you want.

Those 3 choices are all that i now of for a 40 watt bulb.
