I've never owned a tank bigger then 55g, but everyone I talked to said bigger tanks are more forgiving. They can have water problems too it just takes longer for the water quaility to deteriote.

I think the biggest thing will be your electric bill to power the lights. A bigger tank requires much more powerful lights to be successful, unless its a fish only tank.
