i don't know how many people use it but www.craigslist.org is a great place to sell stuff locally. It seems to be used more on the west coast (started in San Fransisco) and the east coast but you can find all sorts of crazy stuff for sale here.

It just a list posting so it's low key but this is where and how I've bought and sold a bunch of stuff.

Wow, thats a pretty cool site. Ebay is beginning to get ridiculous with their insertion fees and final auction fees, etc.

it's good for local stuff, just like your newspaper classifieds but it's free, I usually browse a few sections everyday. Out here people sell DJ equipment pretty frequenty and a ton of vinal for those junkies (you know who you are)

I've found some hella good deals on DVD's and other electronics etc... all sorts of good stuff (and junk)
