Couple quick questions

I noticed today that my yellow leather as two feeding tentacles. They are really long and whispy I guess you could say.I never knew they had them.I guess my question is ,is it normal for them to have them or is it like a desperation attempt to get some sort of food?My next question concerns my open brain,is it common for their feeding tentacles to be out all of the time even after being fed.I feed mysis and brine only in moderation twice a week. Both corals seem to be doing well, growing inches in a matter of weeks but I know how fast things can change.here is a picture of the tentacles coming from my leather, not the best quality but I think you can make them out.
