I ended up having to cut my Colt down to about a half inch from the base. Will it grow back from the base? I am so sick about losing this coral. It was doing so good until the anemone moved too close. I think that it was the anemone that killed it.
it should be fine. i have done the same thing and it has grown back. actually i have ripped of a toadstool off a rock and there was a very tiny piece of tissue and it ended up growing a new head.
