Cleap-Up Crew Question

When I set-up my 75 gal tank last week I had bought around 7 pounds of the aragonite from my lfs's tank. I am noticing now that the bed of my tank is starting to take on a light brown coating of algae. How far should I let it go before I start to put together a clean-up crew. I was thinking about pucking up a guy or two this weekend, but though I would get the opinions of you all first.

sounds like diatoms modify your light schedule(since you have nothing in the tank that needs lights you dont even need to run them much more than to peek in JMHO) and increase your flow they should start going away in a couple of weeks .. adding a crew before it is cycled may kill them as they are sensitive ...if it really bothers you you could siphion it out .. A diatom bloom is a normal part in a new tank. Follow Sadies advice and it should go away soon.
