I really want to get one and they are also really cheap which is nice. Anyone got one in their nano tank? Experiences...good or bad? I assume they eat flake food and mysis.

I said "no"....

I was in the same boat!

Saw one (actually a green clown) at Death-co for almost a week ($4.99), but after much debate, I decided not to given their (sometimes) liking for SPS polyps.

I'm going with gamma loreto when the LFS get'em in next week.

clown gobys are saposed to be great for nano tanks due to their small size as well as since they are a perching fish they do not need a lot of space, you might be able to keep them in alomsot any size tank plus they are a lot more noticed in a small tank

I kept a yellow citron goby in my 3 gallon nano for over a year. But one day he disappeared- cool fish he loved my toadstool.

If you look under my pics of nano 20 below, you will see a picture of mine hosting my elegance coral.

The only thing I worry about is he hardly ever eats. I tried flakes, mysis shrimp and even live brine yesterday.

All he does is pic up microscopic floating debris and eats that and stays right next to the elegance.

He still has a belly. as for my other three fish they are all very skitish and hardly come out. I guess I'll have to observe them over the weekend cause in the morining is when I look. And when I get home lights are already off.

p.s

the other three fishes are:

Red banded Goby, six line wrasse and another goby that is the size of a neon tetra similar colors except its red instead of the blue in a neon tetra. He hides along side the stalks of my frog spawn.
