Chicago area vendors?

Can anyone recommend a Chicago area store for getting started? I would like to start small and learn the basics, but don't have any local trustworthy sources.

yea there is an great fish store on skokie road. Its called old orchard aquarium. IF you know were old orchard is then its not to far from there. Its on skokie. Best people there, and they are crazy smart

I got some nice live rock from Harbour Aquatics. They are over in Indiana but a short trip from Chitown.http://www.harboraquatics.com
It really is cured rock. I had very little cycling and had nice life on it. IT was worth the 3 plus hour drive from springfield for sure. :D

Just started my 6 gallon Nano and have found two stores one called Donna's and the other I dont remember the name but they are a pet store on Toughy just east of the purple hotel in the I think the David mini shopping plaza.
