I got a surprise for you all. I have recently got a long tentacle plate coral. it is very pretty I think. I hope you like it. my plate coral it is tan color, the plate is a neon green\yellow. I rearranged some things to make it fit. My b/f made a 33 sec. movie clip for me and is hosting it from his free site.

i can step in and answer that one......with so much bandwidth being used here to view the file, it's exceeded the amount of bandwidth for the day. (yeah you can exceed bandwidth when you are dealing with a cheapy site like mine that's free! LOL) You'll have to try back later Mikey. During the day it'll be murder so I'll probably give the file to DJ, it's compressed down to a divx file and it went from like 37 meg to 3.7megs :)

I actually think it's more a remote linking/loading problem. If you got directly to the site you can view it. It's very cool BTW.

I've run into this with regular jpg files with tripod members before.

You must be right. When you go to my site and you copy the "shortcut" and paste it to be directed there for download....it acts like it's not even there. But if you visit the site, and get linked one step before actually clicking the file, it works just fine. doh! I'll have to hoste with geocities or something else that's free that's better than tripod. You recommend anything incysor?

Unfortunately I haven't messed with video at all, so I don't have any useful information about good sites for it.

Here's a quick listing I found...but I don't really have any experience with any of them. If you're happy with tripod otherwise, I'd stick with them, and just post the movie page, and tell people which one to click on.

thevl.com and nanotank.com are both hosted through www.webstrikesolutions.com it is a pay site, but it's very cheap. Initial cost is $30 and then your first year is free, afterwards it's only $8/mo. 20gigs of disk space and 1gig of bandwidth/month.

Not bad!

What plan is Nanotank on? What features were included in that packet. Curious. Thanks for the info.
