I recently purchaced a nano12dx from nanocustoms with 4x24watts cf lighting. Just wondering what bulbs would be best for soft corals and zoas, 50/50 or 10,000K ? Also, where is a good place to get this size bulb?

well the 50/50 is one half 10,000k and the other half actinic. If you can have 2 bulbs on and the other two off I think this bulb setup would work nicley.

Bulb 1: 10,000k
Bulb 2: Actinic
Bulb 3: 10,000k
Bulb 4: Actinic

Turn on bulb 2 and 4 about half an hour earlier than the 10,000ks and keep the actinics on for about a half hour longer. I like it as it simulates a dawn/dusk. Plus I train my coral to feed when actinics at night are on. Now when the actinics come on you can see them all ready to eat.

Other wise 50/50s all the way across work very nicely too.
