So I'm winning the battle against that sprout of brown hair algae. I learned it actually likes high flow. However, I did not divert any flow as the placement of my corals would all have to move... Been doing small water changes and stopped the dosing...(calcium was 500+).
I'm going to retest tomorrow and then resume at 2.5ml of the b-ionic instead of the 3.75 ml and see if things stabilize. Good thing I keep a log of everything I do.
...been kinda naughty too. Got some new corals...ok....quite a few...including a dendro, a yellow morph torch, and a duncan....to name a few...will post pics on my tank build asap.
