So after having half my zoas die from a fungus and stuff happening in the family, i went ahead and upgraded my lighting, it now has a 70w 10k MH bulb there along with 2 PC 24w 50/50s

The tank is running at a steady 78.5 or so

tank looks good, sorry to hear about your loss. i just went throught a major loss myself so i know how you feel. looks like a good comeback though.

What does your family think of the new look??

my family thinks im crazy....they really dislike coral for some odd reason, and the xenia freaks them out! :lol:

guess im an oddball :p

That's too bad that your family doesn't appreciate the tank... Im sure that can make it a bit tough :neutral: But we are always here and we always appreciate tanks... ;-)

nice :) - like the boards
but seriously 2 things brandon
1) you need to shield that DE lamp though - uv blocking glass is a must! not just for the tank but your eyes as well
2) make sure that thing don't tip water on a hot lamp and electricity don't mix! not to mention exploding

:) i know its just a temp thing for you but safety first bud OK??

well ed maybe just one more before we let him off.......
i hear the next mod hes planning is to use an old shoebox for his canopy and hold the whole thing together with duct tape
