Hi Steven,

What kind of coral did you get? some kinds will take a day or so before they will open up.

Like Eric said it sometimes takes awhile before you will see polyp extension. Another thing that should be pointed out is that some corals are nocturnal and only extend feeding polyps at night when the lights are off. Were the polyps extended while the coral was at the store? Current can also sometimes play a part in polyp extension. What kind of coral is it and can you post a pic?

The lighting is 4.4 Watts per gal. I am not sure what they came from but to be honast I am pretty sure that mine is better lol :). I spoke to the owner of the store and he said that it took 2-3 days before they opened when he added them into his tank. My params are fine :)
There are no other corals ... its my first ever :). Only other things in tank is live rock, base rock, live coral sand, a caribean featherduster, 1 red legged hermit crab (very small) and two blue legged hermits also very small. It was purchased localy and was only in bag/transport for 10 mins (max)

Image is below.
I cant even remember what it looked like in the store.

Starbust Polyps may take several days to open, especially when first introduced to a new aquarium. That's pretty common and usually there is no need to worry. They are one of the hardiest corals out there and chances are it will do just fine in your tank.
