Hi everyone,

I am new to the forum and have some questions. I have a 24g Oceanic Bio-Cube that was given to me. It has been up and running for a bout a year and a half but isnt in great shape. I want to break it down and build it back up into a healthy reef tank.

It has the standard lighting. Should i upgrade the lighting?

What filter set up should i have in the back? Remove the bio balls? Add LR?

I know i need a chiller because i live in miami florida and in the summers the temperature gets to high.

Should i set up a refiguim?

Thanks for any input.

Michael,

Too bad no one here replied to your thread since I need answers to your same questions!

I started my nano- which was already established- 2 days ago and cant wait to start carry a successfull tank.

as far as the chiller, I dont think you will need one. I believe temps of up tp 80 are okay, so as long as you keep your AC under 77 during the day, you will be okay since the stock lights dont heat things up that bad from what I have monitored in the last few days.

Where have you been buying your stuff? did you stock the tank already?
