Better way to do my 10% water change

Currently I am doing a 10% (one gallon) water change once a week. I use an old one gallon milk jug and a water bottle. I first remove my glass cover, then dip the water bottle between the tank lip and my Current USA Orbit light and fill skimming the scum from the surface. Remove the water bottle fill the milk jug, repeat many times until the jug is full. Dump the old water and top off with new SW and replace the glass top.

How do the rest of you do your water changes? Just looking for a cleaner way.

i use a J-tube with three feet of hose on one end. syphon a gallon out and then pour a gallon in slowly. i use two one gallon pickle jars. this is for my 3.5 nano. for my 2 gallon pico, i use a large coffee cup. one out, one in. in my ten gaalon set-up i have it plumbed so that i pump new in, old overflows out into another bucket. HTH
