I currently have a 30 gallon reef and am thinking of getting a nanotank set up. I wanted to try 8- 12 gallons. In your opinions what are the best tanks for me to look at. I have looked at aquapod, oceanic, and nanocube. Are there alot of others I should look at. Any experiences that you can share would be greatly appreciated. I wanted to set it up as a mini reef so lighting will be important. Thanks for your help

Is an all-in-one tank a necessity? Building your own tank, say a 10g, is a good way to get everything YOU want.

BTW, :welcome to nanotank.com!

Jesse has the best idea but i think your wanting to stay in the nanotank (Cube) style, correct me if I'm wrong. I'd say go with a nanocube, there is alot of information regarding lighting upgrades in this forum. But if lighting is only issue then get any cube thats cheap and just modify the light! Everyone here is helpful and welcome

Yeah, of the all-in-one tanks I would go with the JBJ Nanocube.... Although, I *almost* bought an Oceanic Biocube. Those look very cool too.

I agree with Jesse on just building your own with a 10g or 20g but if youre the type of person that doesnt want to deal with all the stuff or is just not good with your hands then I would go with one of the all in ones. I like the Oceanics more than the JBJ.
