BICOLOR BLENNY- Had a couple, good personality, may not keep color.
BLUE GUDGEON- Tried one. Disappeared 1st day.
BLUE DOT- Judging by pics, this one is nice looking and a bit rarer. I'd seriously consider this one.
BROWN CHEEK- Boring, not a lot of color.
CANARY BLENNY- Have a poor survival rate.
CITRON GOBY- Nice color, good personality.
CLOWN BLACK- No color.
CLOWN GREEN- Same as Citron
CLOWN YELLOW- Same as Citron
DIAMOND GOBY- May starve in a 20g if it won't accept food. Not large enough sandbed.
DRAGON GOBY- Not much color, tends to hide.
ENGINEER GOBY- Not much color, tends to hide. Will re-arrange your sandbed alot.
FIREFISH- Better in pairs, jumpers. Good color and personality.
FORKTAIL BLENNY- Colors are somewhat muted, but a bit more rare, and nice personality.
HARBOUR GOBY- Don't know?
JAWFISH DUSKY- Less color than tiger jawfish.
JAWFISH-PEARLY- Great personality, good color, will dig up sandbed until it decides on a place for it's burrow. It may not be where you'd like it.
JAWFISH TIGER- Same as above, but less color.
LAWNMOWER BLENNY- Good personality, eats algae, not much color.
MANDARIN-GRN GOBY- Not acceptable for a 20g.
MANDARIN-SPOT GOBY- Not acceptable for a 20g.
NEON GOBY- Good color, good personality, very small.
RAINFORD GOBY- Good color, good personality, may eat algae.
RED SCOOTER- Usually not much color on these. Nice personality.
RED SPOTTED- Don't know?
RED SAILFIN- Good personality, but not much color
S'SORTAIL BLENNY- Jumper, not a lot of color
SCOOTER BLENNY- Nice personality, not much color
SMITHII GOBY- Don't know?
STEINITZI GOBY- Had one, it was very shy, almost never saw it.
TIGER SHRIMP- May or may not hook up with a jawfish/goby. Popping noise may be irritating, depending on where the tank is.
TILE-PURPLE GOBY- They get too large for a 20g.
TWIN SPOT- Not a good choice for a 20g. Likely to starve with too small a sandbed. Picky eaters.
WATCHMAN BLUE SPOT- They get pretty large.
WATCHMAN PINK SPOT- Same as bluespot
WATCHMAN YELLOW- Good color and personality.
WEAVER GOBY- Don't know?
WHITE RAYED SHRIMP- Good personality, beautiful color, a bit more rare than some of the others.
YELLOW BLENNY- Don't know?
YELLOW ROSE GOBY- Don't know?
Wrasses (not all of them are reef-safe)
ANTENNA FAIRY WRASSE- Don't know?
BLUEHEAD WRASSE- Gets too big.
BLUE SIDED WRASSE-Don't know?
CLEANER WRASSE- Poor survival rate execept with large tanks with lots of larger fish to clean.
DOTTYBACK WRASSE- Don't know?
DRAGON WRASSE- Gets too large, and will re-arrange the rockwork constantly.
EARMUFF WRASSE- Don't know?
MALE FLASHER- Beautiful fish. Good personality.
GREEN-CORIS WRASSE- May get too large for 20.
HARLEQUIN WRASSE- Gets too big
LUBBOCK FAIRY WRASSE-
LUNARE WRASSE- Gets too big
PINK STREAKED WRASSE- Don't know?
POSSUM WRASSE- May eat your inverts.
EIGHT LINE WRASSE- Similar to six line.
SCARLET-FINNED FAIRY WRASSE- Don't know?
SCOTT'S-FAIRY WRASSE- Good personality, great color, may get too big.
SIX LINE WRASSE- Good personality, good color, but pretty common.
TWELVE LINE WRASSE- Similar to six line
Y-CORIS WRASSE- May get too large for 20.
YELLOWFIN FAIRY WRASSE- Probably good choice, a bit rarer than normal.
YELLOWTAIL CLEANER WRASSE- Same as regular cleaner wrasse.

That's about all my input. Can you send a link to the sites you're looking at? I'd like to see pics of the ones I don't recognize if possible.

About the rainford...mine never has ate anything and is getting fat. Had him 5-6 weeks. Did see him eat hair algae but haven't had any since he ate it. Chews up sand and rock but don't know what he is getting out of it. He gets along fine with my firefish and yellow clown goby. Very low or no maintenance on the rainford. They live in a 10 nano with a fire shrimp.

didnt read the whole list there.. but i saw my first purple firefish in person the other day and if i thought my 5.5gal could handle the extra load id get it... probably the most beautiful fish ive seen in person....

i acutally thought about starting a FOWLR just to get it...

like the extra bio load... amonia etc... its only 5.5 gallons,, and while my o. clown is only like 3/4" he will grow...

Yeah, you may be pushin the envelope with just that one fish. I would add a small airstone if you see him gasping in the morning. I run one 24/7 because I am running too heavy a bio-load. I have 4 fish in a twelve but all is well until the unexpected happens. No room for error. I will be changing this situation as I have bought another tank.

never ever seems to be gasping always exploring something that looks new to him.. and what difference would morning from night make?
