Best Filtration medium in 12 Gallon Aquapod?

Right now, I'm using what came with it- ceramic rings, carbon, and bio balls. I'm guessing I should change up- what combo have other people had luck with, and what should go in which chamber? Thanks!!

I would take out the rings and balls (no pun intended). I only keep the sponge in there and do a water change every week.

Don't forget to rinse the sponge well at least once a week in some old tankwater.
