banded coral shrimp

I am looking at getting a banded coral shrimp. Anyone have this type of shrimp? I would like to hear your opinions.

they get really aggressive when they get larger.........so are even like that when there smaller. had one in the past and witnessed it catching acouple small gobies. that was the end for him :twisted: :cry: just my 2 cents though, ppl have kept them with no problems. HTH

I have a friend who has a coral banded shrimp. They look really cool and usually only really get agressive if ur tank doesnt have enough food for them. They look badass tho. I personally have a pink skunk cleaner shrimp and a peppermint shrimp. They have great personality and like to clean my fingers lol... I like them though

Well I took the plunge and bought one. He is a tiny little guy, I do believe that they might be more aggressive like rescuediver 19 said if they do not get enough food, I would be too.

I was looking at getting a cleaner shrimp but they are just to expensive here at a whopping $30.00 each.

Will let you know how things go as shrimpy grows.

These guys will eat smaller shrimps and snails...I personally wouldnt get one but they do look sweet!
