Are these Aiptasia?

The white one is actually growing in the shade of an overhang, though you can't see this because of the flash. Maybe this explains its lack of pigmentation.

Thanks, that's what I suspected. I'll get an L. wurdemanni and see what it does. Experiences seem to be very mixed. If it doesn't eat 'em I'll chemically nuke 'em.

I just nuked about 10 of them in my 6 gal with some straight calcium and a syringe. :shock:

I use a syringe and boiling water injected into them. The tougher ones I use pickling lime and hot water.

could they maybe be feather dusters? They tend to hide/disappear when something gets near them.
