Are my Anemones Bleached?

Hi

I got 2 tiny BTAs (about 1.25" expanded) from the LFS. Theyre obviously clones or maybe sexually produced juvis. Anyway, whats wierd is the smaller (shorter bosy column) one has about 30 tentacles, all usually thin normal tentacles which bubble up slightly after feeding. The other one (with the taller body column) has about 15 tentacles, all with very bulbous tips; not bulbous like the nipple shaped ones ive seen, but just rounded tips, no nipple like structure after the bulb.

Anyway, both these anemones are brown bodied, and the many tentacled one has purple tips. However, they both have stark white tentacles (always like this, even at LFS). The many tentacled one (which i got earlier) has grown a little in my tank, many more tentacles too. Juat was wondering if they indeed are bleached. The body colour would indicate otherwise, but their tentacles are white. Btw, i have seen white tentacled BTAs online (pics of wild specimens).

Thanks in advance for any info.

Hard to tell without a pic....As long as they're healthy and eating it doesn't really matter. Either this is their normal color, or they'll gradually regain their color in the white areas.

FWIW I've seen plenty of BTAs lately both RBTA and GBTA that had color morphs that had a lot of white to them.

almost sounds like H. Crispa (seabae). Although I have never seen a seabae with "bubble" tips. Hmm.

Yeah, a picture would be good.
