aquatic relationships

I am looking for advise/experiences with species that co-exist. I enjoy the watching the interaction in the tank as much or more than anything else. My tanks have low lighting in one and moderate in other and are both 6G, I am so hooked that we are planning a 50-100 in our living room with refugium in the basement, so am looking for some planning advice about that also.

I have been reading past postings on Watchman Gobie etc... good with DIY and want to enjoy the planning. It took over a year just to plan the 6G which have been up for a few weeks and doing great. So please post those great past/present species pairings so I can research and plan for the bigger tank.

The goby/pistol pairings are the most common but there are other interesting relationships to see if thats what your looking for. Some examples are acro crabs with their coral, anenome crabs or anenome shrimp on their host anenome (flower anenomes are good for this IMO),and of course the clown/anenome combo cannot be left out. Other combos which can be interesting to observe are harlequin shrimp and starfish (shrimp eats the stars tube feet), aiptasias and berghia nudibranches or peppermint shrimp, etc. The latter are not really relationships but are interesting to watch. Just watching the interactions between a true pair of fish or whatever can be very interesting, especially mating behaviours. Keep your eye out and I'm sure you'll find the pair you can't resist.
