I have one of these little tanks that's not being used and wanted to try to turn it into a small coral tank. This is not the 3 gallon with the flourescent bulb, but the 2g with the crappy C7 candelabra bulb. I want to make the tank look as stock as possible. For a quick easy and probably crappy solution, I have found this:

I'm really concerned about heat and the fact that I won't have a way to seperate the water surface from the bulb due to space.
I've also seen the azoo neo LED strip and thought about disassembling it and trying to shoehorn into the hood.
Each one really has it's own drawbacks and I was curious if anyone else had modded one.
