Anyone Hate Getting Riped Off?

I think I have been patient enough! Beginning of October I sent a package of GSP, shrooms, caulpra & critters to Memphis in Chicago at my expense, everything was free to him, he just had to reimburse me 5-10 of the shipping expense. Not only that, but he said that he would go to his LFS and pick me up a coral so I padded the package with a 20 dollar bill to boot, so have something come back in my thermos. He received his package the first week in October, all in good health, along with my money. I have asked for my money back if nothing else, told him I would take a loss on the thermos and my shipping expense (another 20.00), and I can't even get that from him!!! I know that things come up in our day to day lives, but is it so much to ask to stick a 20 in and envelope and put it in the mail? Just frustrated and wanted to give everyone a heads up to be leary of a trade with this person. Does anyone think that I'm just not being patient enough here?

I've heard of other people getting burned and will not ship anything until I have recieved the paypal for the shipping cost.

It's a shame that you trusted this person and he is blatantly ignoring your requests for what is rightfully yours. IMO you should just write it off and take this as a learning experience for next time.

I've personally made a few trades with people on this site with no problems so believe it or not, there are honest people out there. In fact, I'm shipping out some corals to ExiledInfidel666 today.

Jennie, please leave him very negative feedback in the section above. I've also made it a sticky and encourage everyone to use it to 'weed out' the theives. :dev:

Conn-ban Memphis. It's as easy as that. There's not a lot else you can do. I would suggest formalizing the agreement on the site so everyone can see and then not to ship before you've recieved payment. It's not full proof but what else are you going to do?

That and everyone else should refuse to acknowlege his existance until he comes good on his deal. Or I pay him a visit when I'm in Chicago this summer....bwa ha ha ha :twisted:

just got Conns package, it was the scariest thing ever, this is not CONN's fault in anyway at all he did a great job everythign was packaged great, I think they hit the box though, it was wet when I got it, maybe the thermos just dripped a little but it was icy cold and the water the frags were in was the same, musta been like 40 degrees, I got the zoa's into my tank to warm up soon as I could, I put them in at 230 its now 11pm and they havnt opened up, I think they still have life in them, weil see, I hope so, just for future in the winter dont use water thermos, use like the super super insulated soup ones, they should work a lot better, im goign to try and get my hands on a heat pack to ship my frag back to him, whats the temp over by you anyways CONN, becuase here its about 30 at night and 50 day but last night it dropped to 21, that must of been what did it, well everyone wish my lil frags good luck I think they need them, once agian CONN did a great job and id trade with him anytime this wasnt his fault, little unepected weather and poor USPS handling
