Yeah, I'm pretty active. I'm in the best strength of my life although not the best cardio as of yet. So Cal is the place to be for fitness, 24hr Gym has something like 24 locations in the county alone, there's one on every corner it seems. I do strength training 3x a week, a boot camp style class (loaded with women @ one of the beach locations, I'm 12 mi to work and I can think of 6 24hr Gyms on the way, how crazy is that?!?!?!?) on Tuesdays and then I either golf/driving range on thursday and I try to go mtn biking for a few hours on the weekend. Shortly I'll start swimming in the ocean now that the water temp is above 65 and that's a mile in open water.
I wish more of my friends biked but I go biking with this woman who's pretty cute, can't complain about that. I'm meeting more people out here that are even more active than I and I think they're nuts. Most of them are on a crew team but that's not my cup of tea, some ocean going kaykers which is something I want to try and a couple of the women also rock climb. Too many freaking hobbies/interests and not enough cash.
And most of it is year round. Tomorrow I'm moving to within 2mi of work so I can bike every day and I got a bike locker at work so 'parking' is taken care of. This town has some major problems but the weather isn't one of 'em.
