Ammonia High + PH Low everything else perfect - Help Please

I just got a used, established (2 years) aquapod 24. Broke her down at the prior owner's house and set her back up at mine. Water is clear, liverock and small soft corals look good. I was planning to start adding cleaning crew and fish until I tested the water. Nitrates and Nitrites are at zero. Ammonia is at .50 and PH is at 7.4. Brought water sample to store and they confirmed readings. They gave me some Kent Ammonia Detox and said that should do the trick on the high ammonia. It made no difference. I'm planning to do a 50% water change tomorrow. Any advice?

Looks like a cycle was kick started. Time is your best bet. The tank is just settling in. My vote is let the cycle run then water change. for the PH you can open the tank top (if it's closed) and adjust the flow so that the water top is agitated to help with air exchange.

By the way...

Update - did a 30% water change and waited a day and tested again - everything okay. Added a small clean-up crew and two green chromis (my son wanted them) and everything looks happy and health for 2 days now.
