all goby or blenny tank?

If you want to have a variety of fish, you should probably consider (A) a fish only with live rock tank (FOWLR) and (B) a little bit bigger tank. Most gobies should be fine together. You will probably want a skimmer to help with the increased bioload. I would say that gobies are probably a better choice than blennies for this sort of thing.

I think this would be very interesting!

I have heard of people doing an all goby tank but it held only a couple of fish since it was much smaller than the tank you describe. I would think it would be an interesting project and you could even end up with some of the gobies attempting to breed.

it would be different just make sure you have gobies of size that wont eat another i would say neon gobies and clown gobies and if you wanted to branch out maybe a firefish

There is a very nice small display tank in a fish store here, probably about 60/70 gal and square and shallow. It is mainly sand bed with minimal rock and only various gobies and scooters as fish, plus mainly fan worms as inverts. It is really beautiful. I'll try to take a pic next time I visit it. It has a wavemaker surge device in it which is very effective. Much bigger than you plan, but there is no reason I can see that something similar could not be achieved in 20 or 30 gal.

I don't think I've seen anything like that b4... but I do think it would be something interesting to see. It would be great if you could get a few pics of the display tank that you mentioned.
