Akindynos or Melanopus?

Hi everyone,

Im undecided on what to get for my anemone/clown tank. Im getting a nice big 16cm E Quadricolor and a month later will be getting a pair of clowns, if all goes well.

I can get only a limited selection of clowns here, namely occelaris, percula, melanopus, akindynos, clarkii, perideraion. I can also get maroons, but not as pairs, and im hoping of maybe breeding them if they want to.

Anybody got any suggestions/past experience with any? Im open to all suggestions although i think im leaning towards the melanopus/akindynos. Also, theyll be the only ones in the tank.

The dusky's are pretty. I also like the pink skunks. I'm not sure about how agreesive those guys are but the clarks and the maroons tend to be pretty agressive as they get older and havae a nasty habit of attacking you when you go to do routine maintence.

Thanks for the reply. What do you mean by dusky? are ya talking about the melanopus (cinnamon) clowns? I think they get quite a bit aggresive, so do the akindynos (theyre almost like clarkiis in most ways).

Was thinking of getting a pair of CB maroons, i think maroon babies look amazing, plus they sorta have the cute swimming pattern like occys and percs. Unfortunately, no gurantee of an occy or a perc hosting a BTA andi dont wanna have to wait a year to see that happening.

Do skunks have much personality? As the only motile things in the tank, i was hoping to get some real characters.
